Yea I had to bring torque reduction WAY down in 1st and 2nd with E40. Now I do a combo of that and gear based boost with the new ATR update. Works pretty well on the curvy track so I would imagine it would work even better with the wheel straight.
I shift at 6k 2-4 1st gear spins pretty hard on track so I have to let it tap the revlimiter to get the vehicle moving or else it bogs real bad going into 2nd.
