Strong Gas Smell & Intercooler

Did anyone else notice an increase in the smell of gas after installing a larger intercooler on your ST? If so, what was the problem and fix?

No it should never smell of gas from the intake side. It is a direct injection engine. It might be paint, if the intercooler is painted, that smells.

If you got it tuned as well, the tune might be a bit rich?

Did you plug all the evap lines back in when installing?
