New to the fiesta world, picking up the car tonight from family ford in nj. Trading in my 15 tang focus st for a 15 tux fiesta st, got a killer deal on a new leftover 15 so it saves me some money monthly and i here these are more fun anyway, looking forward to modding it in the next few months, curious what people find worthwhile mods wise on these, not sure if the tq steer is as awful as my focus was but excited to learn!

Thanks guys, so i know i have a lot of reading to do as far as modding goes, but what are generally the most beneficial mods to these car? My focus for example was basically useless until you upgraded the fmic and an aftermarket tune and the dp for example added basically nothing, are the fist the same way or different?

Same deal with the FiST. Intercooler and Accessport followed by custom tune will give you the most noticeable improvement for the least coin. Afterwards its best to figure out how far you're going to go modwise, so you don't end up doing things twice. Are you going to upgrade your turbo? If so eventually recommend upgrading your downpipe, charge pipes (if you dont do them with the intercooler) and exhaust. Intakes are a gray area. I'm upgraded stock location turbo with just an intake tube and drop in K&N with the stock airbox. I'll be ugrading to a Cobb full intake soon. Also you'll probably want to upgrade to a RMM by Cobb, Mountune or even some of our forum members like Frankiefiesta make there own upgraded stock motor mounts. Feel free to chime in with any other questions. Happy modding and welcome to the forum.

Thanks man, So it basically is the same as the FoST with modding, air intakes, charge pipes, and downpipe arent worth it unless heavily modding. I dont plan on upgrading the turbo, but definitely going to do the IC and Tune. What seems to be the most popular/ best overall tuner for these? I had Stratified on my FoST and I know they also do FiST but they dont seem to be as well liked or popular on here

Stratified seem to be more active on the FoST because there are more of them on the road, so more customers. They get good reviews on this forum. Most people go with Adam from Tune+. He's a very good tuner and has a lifetime tune deal for like $300 so anytime you change or add mods you can get retuned at no additional charge. Also have Randy at Mountune is popular. I am tuned by Adam Tune+ and he does a very good job. No complaints.

My advice is to just drive the car as is for awhile and then decide where you want to make changes. A lot of mods are just the latest fad and can end up being a waste of money when you realize that it doesn't add to your enjoyment of the car. I doubt if you'll get any consensus as to what is the most beneficial.
Having said that I'm guessing that the winner may be to replace the rear motor mount (RMM). But then again maybe you want the car to look different ?
I'd say a good cleaning and wax job. Get to know tour car!

Cobb RMM and Accessport first.

no matter what you do in the future you basically need these two items anyways.

the RMM made such a nice improvement for me in the shifting department I feel like that should be advertised more than the engine hitting the firewall.

Which rmm is considered a more mild option? I had a cfm adjustable one on my fost as well as the cpe stage 2 which was really harsh

Welcome. I test drove a FoST before I got my Fiesta and could not get past how the Fiesta made me feel in comparison. The Focus is a great car but the Fiesta makes me feel like a kid again.

I like the Cobb and Mountune versions. Not too much vibration and they get the job done.
