You guys will get results from my car . Weather you want them or not ( as always, lol ). But i realize it won't technically be the same result everyone else may see.

Plus I get the feeling plenty of people are going to beat me to this, lol.

Just for the people interested, you guys should log ambient temp, intake temp, and I think there is a vacuum one too ( shows how hard the turbo is pulling on the filter, but that maybe another " pretend sensor " they call "inferred". Which means... Its calculated, not real. (Like oil temp and turbo compressor outlet temp ).

I had so many plans on logging after this part, but then there was that time where my AP was ripped off my dash. Just feels like few days ago...oh wait, it was.

LOL mine will be opened and looked at for a second or two the wire extension and elbow added to the box and shipped off to DHM for install and tuning.. good times :) may even tweek the fitment at the turbo..
Also get the filter part number or measure it for a water sock..
On a side note I like the space this opens up when one removes the factory air intake stuff and wonder if a WMI tank would fit where the air box now sits ? only a quick use 1 gal tank for my intake valve washing idea ;)

I have a 2.5 gal tank for the wmi tank, but I'm not positive its going to fit so easy, even with the intake box removed. The 1 gal windshield tank is actually pretty ok. The hard part is fishing the pump pickup all the way to the bottom of it.

Interested in hearing just how loud this is.
Its going to very loud. I had an HCI (Holy Cowl Intake) from a company called ATM and it was stupid loud in the car, but worked like advertised.

It does take some manuvering to get it in place. There is a sensor and clip in the back, and hard line for the turbo than can be loosened and moved for more clearance. We'll have the instruction up on the site. But this will help with the clearance needed in the cowl.

Notice the cut starts exactly 12" from the trailing edge, and its 3 3/8" wide

Yeah, I found that putting the filter on after getting the hard pipe in place was easier, lol....anyway, almost done, just got to put the wipers on. I also had to re locate my catch can.

Yes, definitely the last part is the filter. And you see how the angle needs to go on the filter neck. It cocks it over just enough for a snug fit.
