Ok so I'm ordering this exhaust for sure

https://www.scorpion-exhausts.com/ford-fiesta-st-180-exhaust-systems

However the guy offered me this downpipe for $50 plus shipping since it's a closeout item.

https://www.scorpion-exhausts.com/ford-fiesta-st-180-2013-2015-de-cat-downpipe-de-cat

My question to you guys is if I plan on keeping a stock turbo and just the usual bolt-on's is it worth the Downpipe?

I assume the Downpipe will result in me immediately needing an Access Port tuner....

What should I do?

Skip the DP and just do the cat-back exhaust or do the DP and cat-back exhaust?

The picture is and title is saying the st180 and st200. Those are both 3 doors vs our 5 door. Im not positive either way but id look into making sure it would fit our US version before you pulled the trigger.

You need to decide what 'worth it' means to you. Neither item that you are about to buy will net you any measurable performance, so you're buying them for the sound which is fine, many of us (myself included) have done that. If you pass on the downpipe you'll have a louder and deeper sounding car, if you opt to get the downpipe as well you'll likely hear additional turbo noises. To me, the turbo noises are the best sounds that a car can make, so 50 bucks would be worth it to me. As far as needing an accessport, no you don't need one. The downpipe you are considering is a de-cat so if you choose to not get an AP, you'll be stuck with a CEL.

I thought a downpipe was the one thing that required a tune if you changed it out, regardless of the thrown code? Something like it would make the turbo act differently.

I read both.

Yes you need AP after removing cat

No you don't need AP after removing cat

A downpipe swap does not affect how the turbo functions. The only reason you would have heard that an AP is needed after the swap is to remove the CEL, otherwise it is not required.

Is a catted down pipe necessary with a stock turbo though?

Legally on the street you need a cat. Function wise going catless can throw a code, can smell, can leave more soot, can sound nice.

If your question is if you need a bigger downpipe to get more horseys from the turbo, the stock downpipe is pretty much fine until you upgrade the turbo.

I'm not sure what you mean...what type of downpipe is installed (catted, high flow cat, cat-less) has no relation to what turbo is installed in the car and vice-versa.
