I am not a fan of black roofs on either car, but that i20N looks much bigger to me dimensionally, outside, than the FiST, and I am less than impressed with it's looks.

Regardless of what he states in the article, the 'dai looks much more 'pedestrian' to me, despite the wing, striping, etc., than the FiST, especially with the latter in that Nitrous Blue color.

The styling is typical Japanese comic book car look. I refuse to drive ugly cars! Saw a beautiful 911 this weekend, no flared rear, no stripes, no spoiler just a very nice smooth aero look. That I would trade my FiST for. If I find $120K, LOL! iris.jpg

I don't mind the looks of the i20 actually sans the Hyundai light blue color and red accents (wish the fad would go away), but the mk8 fiesta is more handsome design.

Nonetheless if it drives well I value that more than how good a car looks. I think in these days beggars cant be choosers with what little selection we get with affordable fun cars and manual transmissions.

Of course, but as has been stated above, we get NEITHER of these 'options' here in 'bigger/super high center of gravity is BEST' SUV/coal rolla land 'murrica. [mad] [:(]

I will not be a beggar unless my FiST dies! If I could get a non Chinese 6 speed in a Mustang I would replace Fifi with that but no can do!

Right? In a way I'm thankful... basically since I bought my first FiST (in 16) I haven't gotten the new car itch (aside from buying my 19 when I heard they were getting discontinued). Unless something equally amazing hits our market (unlikely)... I don't think I'll be itching for a new car in the foreseeable future.

Can't afford one but If I could............Just looked and with just the red brakes and B&O stereo would be over $58K + TTL
They sell so many mustangs that most depreciate nicely. They are quite a value these days as well. I toss around the idea of a gt to check the boxes that the fiesta doesn’t but I think I would rather have a vette to scratch the v8 itch.

gt350 was a much better package than the mach 1.
cant bring myself to spend that much on one when there are more appealing options out there.

aleo being able to afford a car is one thing. to be agle to afford tracking the car is quite another and it makes little sense to not track cars like the GT350, or even the fiesta for that matter.

My FiST makes a great daily! I don't really have time to track it, but it is fun to bang gears in general.

Don't they make kits/adapters to swap in a TR-6060? (But yeah, I know, warranty and all. [:(])

The only new car I would replace my Fifi with would be a Mustang GT Coyote and even that would have a sticker of $48K for my choices Almost $50K with 10 spd auto. The class action 6M suits do not include 2019's up. Have they corrected the issues or does the suit exclude cars under warranty? Hmmm????
BTW, one of the reasons for choosing the FiST was the Ford Performance warranty friendly upgrades and it still applies to the Mustang. As long as Fifi does not get totaled I have no need to worry about a replacement. There is no replacement for the FiST. Not that a Mustang GT resembles a FiST in any way other than a really nice car for the $$. Cannot deal with the Japanese Comic Con styling and even BMW has lost their minds with the ugliest BMW in history now! Looks like a '59 Edsel with double grills on

Priced a GT350 in 2019, $68K and worth it with a Tremec 6M and Voodoo engine but I don't want that big of expense. Or the insurance costs. As to tracking a car it makes very little sense to the average car owner, I do appreciate and support your desire to do so and wish you well.
I wish the SCCA would revive the old showroom stock class racing again. Pinto, Vega and Opel (till they outlawed the Opel) was dirt cheap, competitive and a ball to watch! Made me order a Cosworth Vega that I never did get after a 2 year wait.

It was a beast of a car but there is a good reason why they got rid of the Voodoo so quickly.

Also, Roadrunner(757) > everything else. Nothing beats that monster in the Boss 302.

Are you referring to the EU regarding the Voodoo?
