I VOTE for replacing the connector! Time to test out your Electric repair skills!

Agreed. If the gasket/harness is damaged, then water will infiltrate, the pins will corrode, and the connection will begin to intermittently fail; resulting with symptoms that may trick service personnel into incorrectly replacing hardware. If he glues it, (depending on how,) the wires will need to be snipped next time it needs to be taken apart for service. It'll also serve to prevent a prolonged session of cursing from the unwitting service personnel.

Where would I look for the OEM BPV connector? All I am seeing online is the entire wire harness and I only need the small plastic wire connector

A photo might help. If one can't find an exact replacement, a similar one may due. (has to be heat + water resistant given its location)
These for example claim to be water resistant though mention nothing about heat tolerances.

You’ll have to hunt down the actual connector unfortunately. The part number referenced is only the complete engine harness

A lot of the connectors in the Fiesta are manufactured by TE - I’ve had a little luck using Google image search to identify a couple of them, but it’s a bit of a needle in a haystack.

Thanks for all your help you guys. I think it will be okay if its not water or heat resistant; I can always use tape or some kind of covering to protect the connector from the elements and the engine heat. Ill do some digging around and if worse comes to worst I can always epoxy it if I cant find the part
