Broken door sensor

For about 2-3 weeks now my car gets random chimes and a little notification on the infotainment system pops up that the car has the driver side rear door open. I constantly check it but it's never open or loose. All functions seem to be fine, does it even with child lock on. Does anyone know if unplugging the sensor can avoid the notification or somewhere I can check to fix?

There was a recall for door latches for some models. Maybe your car is impacted by that issue?

Didn't know we had a recall for that, I'll look into that. Does anyone know if it's something Ford still covers?
