Cleaning your steering wheel.

What do the majority clean their steering wheel with?

I wipe em down with Mothers VLR. Nothing fancy

When I had the OEM leather one, gentle brush with Autofinesse Hide Leather Cleaner.

Now with alcantara I use 1:10 dilluted APC and gently apply with a microfiber cloth.. and I run gloves during racing and trackdays.

Would it be safe to use the leather cleaner I use on my suede recliners?

am I crazy? After cleaning, I go with black shoe polish.
