So this begs the question as to when is the new firmware update going to be released with this new feature? ;)
It's very close. Within the next few days is my guess. A LOT of regression testing being done due to the new features and fixes.

Cheers,
-Braden @ COBB

AccessPort Firmware Update Released

Accessport Firmware update has just been released with the much awaited auto on/off feature and many more updates included...

(See details in update notes in AP manager after reflashing AP)

Now available for ALL Ford Accessports is a BETA Engine On/Off Detection (EOD) Feature. The on/off button still retains its functionality but the EOD feature enables the Accessport to sense when the vehicle is running and automatically turns on or off with the engine. EOD does require the user to enable the feature. It can also remain disabled if you prefer to use the on/off button exclusively.

Mine works fine...The on/off feature works when you turn on and off the engine....

FYI...

I checked with Braden before updating my AccessTuner Race program earlier today and he said for the FiST it only has some minor software improvements added ...nothing major...

Justin, you may be doing what I did. First couple of times I tried it, I didn't wait long enough.

When you shut off the engine it'll go to the "The Accessport is trying to connect to your vehicle" screen. After several seconds it'll go to the auto off screen and shut off. When starting the car it takes several seconds before it detects and turns on. Seems to be working okay.
