Hello, I was wondering how does a fiesta with stage 1 compare to a stock focus st in terms of straight line acceleration?

Off the line, I've kept up with one up to about 80 before we both let off. Im running Cobb's ots stage 1 tune and a green filter. No RMM though.

I beat my friends fully loaded fost with my fully loaded fist. His was stock and mine had a AP3 and turbo transformer, but it was bone stock besides that.

Sourskittle, I'm sort of a noob with the tune stuff, is there much point in having the accessport and turbo transformer?

It should.

If you have an access port, spend the money on a pro-tune or race tuner. If you have the TT already, then I liked running it.

My favor in my car is catching focus ST's from a 2nd gear roll. Between my bigger tires and power that builds instead of slams, I get traction and pull away while they just DESTROY their tires. Then... I'm sure they are confused when I keep pulling away, lol.

I'm waiting for a nice MS3 to F me up, but... It hasn't happened yet :(

I wanted to add... I my butt kicked one day on the interstate by a fost. I had 4 people in my car and the dash said it was 97degrees outside (while going 80mph ). I saw it had a big FMIC has he ran up on me. But it was a fun little run, he prob put 2 cars on me. I had 3" tbe, AP3, and TT but stock besides that. Guy was cool, told me about a local facebook based group ( which was pointless cause I don't have a facebook).

Any stock turbo fist is gonna have a hard time from a 3Rd gear or higher roll against a focus with a bigger intercooler. Both our ECU's are very heat sensitive, but their intercooler is much more poorly matched in stock forum vs ours. Once they fix the intercooler problem, they have really nice power everywhere, then your advantage will mostly be traction based since most Fost can't control the power they have.

Pro-tune is a professional tuner like freak-tune or panda or randy at mountune tuning your car via logs and e-mails.

Race tuner is cobbs software for $150 that gives you the power to tune your own car. Set your own launch controls, tune for ever changing climate and conditions. Learn a ton about your car. As far as I can tell, I'm the only one that's gone through the trouble of learning and asking questions with race tuner. Even if your not going to do a pro-tune, race tuner is worth $150 EASILY.

Fiesta needs to be at least stage 2 to keep up with a stock focus st. Stage 3 you might barely pull
