Dead pedal solutions?

When I have some free time I might pop out a few if these and sell them here
Do you think you could extend the bottom and curve it so that it would end under the floor mat? Was also wondering if it could just slightly curve around the edge of the right side to better protect the carpet?

Pedal looks awesome and I'm awaiting availability regardless. I can't believe they left it out from the factory!

Hi Boston Driver. Thanks for the feedback. The pedal actually extends below the carpet currently as it sits. I will reduce the radius on the left side so that both sides look the same. Unfortunately I can not extend the pedal around the edge. It will just add much more cost and time (which I really don't have much of right now.) The carpet is pretty will protect with the dead pedal, the side of the carpet still looks like new on my car even with my huge work boots haha.

Anyways, I'm getting close to having some done. Maybe sometime this week.

Also, I decided to use a heavier 16 gauge stainless steel instead of my thin 20 gauge that used originally for my pedal. Should be much more sturdy, and I'll do my best to keep the price in the same ballpark.

Thanks!

Hello
Just joined the Forum. I really like your Dead pedal design. Are you making any more? If so, can you post to the UK?

Thanks for the reply. Sorry to see it's not suitable for RHD as you design is really excellent and looks beautifully made. If however you do happen to make the odd RHD cover or develop the design so it universally fits both LHD and RHD, please let me know.

I'll be happy to make a RHD version. If you want to take some measurements and/or draw up a basic picture of what you think will work, I can try to come up with something. Just PM me.

It's finally arrived, the new design RHD dead pedal. So a quick fit in place and a photo so all can see how totally brilliant it is. Many thanks to No-pistons for making the RHD pedal.
I hope I get the image upload right.

Not bad. After 2700 km of very gentle driving I'm finding the carpet under and around my pedals as well as the dead-pedal area is getting beat up already. Looks like an easy replace if it ever had to be done, but it's good to know that weathertech has an option. I'm picking up the No-Pistons unit at week's-end, so it may be irrelevant for me, but good for anyone who just wants a broader protection scheme.

Does anyone know is this dead pedal will work with the Weathertech floor liners?

I just installed the Weathertech floor mats last week. The fitment is fantastic and I think the driver's side extends far enough up the dead pedal area to eliminate the need for a separate dead pedal. The clutch pedal does scrape a little at the very far end of its travel but I think it will go away over time. I could also just trim the mat where it touches if I decide that it bothers me. Overall I think it's worth it because you basically get the mats and dead pedal as one package. Heh
