It looks like I will need to reuse the connector from the OEM fog lights. Does anyone know if the connectors be purchased individually from a Ford dealership or anywhere else?
You just need to build the connector. I beleive they give the shell/housing. Nothing is reused from the existing light, or at least that is how all the videos i saw explain it. Did you inquire with diode dynamics?

Did you get the universal sheet and trim into circles for the Lamin-X?

Since the lights were already out of the car.
I cut a square of Lamin-X attached it and then trimmed the edge around the light.

Thanks! I'll go ahead and get the square ones since I'll be swapping the LED lights in. Stupid rock broke one of my stocks...

I too had the same problem with the OE fog lights and Lamin-X.
This is why I originally changed to 2500k yellow bulbs (new & used set for sale BTW).

LED lights can get hot electrically but not usually because of the light.
This set is cold to the touch when on, so I am sure they will be OK.

Hey, Dave

How have they been holding up? Has the Lamin-X been holding up?

There have been no issues at all.
The lights work perfectly and the Lamin-X looks as good as the day I installed it.
The only exception to that statement would be that, yes there some minor marks in the Lamin-X as the result of the protection it provides.

@D1JL sorry for reviving a long dead thread but just stumbled across this fog LED option and for the price they seem to be a great and reliable option. since you're well past the lifespan of the average car part, how have the DiodeDynamics fog lights held up?

also hope your "project" car is going well!

Although, I sold my FiST some time ago.
I wired the fogs to work as daytime running lights, so they were on constantly.
I never had any issues with the LED fogs.

(New parts arriving today)
