Door Open Light

I've seen a few posts about this issue, but I'm looking for some troubleshooting advice.

My door open light has started to come on and stay on. I've opened and closed all doors, the hatch, and the hood, but the light stays on. I'm also fairly certain my alarm has gone off a couple of times. The interior lights stay off, so no door is actually open.

Does anyone know how to test which sensor might actually be bad?

Thanks!

I would check 1) your hood latch sensor and 2) if your car was part of the door latch recall.

No recall for me. Any tips on how to actually test the hood latch sensor? Thanks!

I had that same problem and it just that I was not closing the rear hatch hard enough.

Had to change the rear hatch latch last year when pops had the same issue with your old ST

Everything is definitely closed up tight.
Does it do the double honk when you press the remote key to lock it?

Mine just did this today, and the hatch was not closed all of the way when I checked everything, then it did the normal single honk on lock.
