Got my ST in September '13 and has 6750, but with Cobb Tune it has been set at 7000rpm according to Cobb Tech. Haven't checked that out yet.

Great thread... I found myself trying to hit 6750rpm once after reading reviews that journalists were shifting at that point. I found myself hitting rev limiter before I
realized that my redline was 6500.. I always thought they misprinted or I misread. Glad to know the truth now.

6500rpm, Build date: Nov 2013

6500 here. I guess that means the rev limiter won't let us 65K people hit 6750.

march '14 build date. June purchase and was on the lot for only a week. 6500 limiter. I prefer the 6500 with red all the way around so I'm ok with it. I don't rev that high anyways....the turbo isn't efficient up there anyways.

I got mine in March and it has the 6500 redline and you will notice the red inner liner around the entire tach. So how many people have the 6750 vs 6500

Looks like early demo units had 6750 from this review http://www.svtperformance.com/forum...l-New-2014-Ford-Fiesta-ST-197-HP-amp-2800-lbs

So when did it change?
Looks like the speedo changed too, notice the red inner line in the kmh area?

Mine was built on 09/06/13 and I have a 6750 RPM redline.

From the posts here it looks as if the change was made sometime in November of 2013.
Two posters have November build dates and each have different redlines.

The only difference I can see is that some of us got better cars. [twothumb]

By the door jam, mine was built in November 2013, and has the 6750 redline.

So I have the 6750 redline, but like everyone knows, before that point theres a thin redline around 6K rpm which grows once you hit 6750/6500. Does that mean I have to shift at 6000 rpm (when the redline first appears) or is the limit 6750 (when the redline is largest)? Not sure when I should time my shifts

Possibly they were built at different plants? I work for Toyota and we have some plants that produce the same vehicle for different shipping locations.
