Some of you may know, I'm rebuilding a 2014 from salvage. The connector on the evap harness is smashed, connector pictured below. Rather than sped $150+ on a new harness I'm wondering if anyone has other ideas? I bought an evap line from a Chevy for $20 and it fits ok enough, car starts and idles fine but I suspect the line will vibrate loose while driving. I'm willing to bite the bullet and buy the harness but does anyone know a cheaper/easier way? I'm also trying to understand the consequences of removing the check valve from that line as well.
