It doesn't say anything about being agm.
I put a AGM battery in my wife's car and it was the Platinum series.
I'm not calling you a liar but we need pics for proof, because people have been looking for a AGM 96r battery.

You're right, the Platinum one is the AGM battery, but it does come in our 96R group size. I just got curious and looked it up-

your right, forgive my ignorance. I actually feel really stupid now. I looked up the meaning of AGM and to be honest I thought it was the brand. I will now go hide my head in shame. But I did learn something new though, if it weren't for your post Ford ST I would remain ignorant on the subject.. sorry to any who got their hopes up that such a battery existed.

in light of learning new things...Capri, I assume the AGM is worth the 40 extra dollars?
They also tend not to spill, which I think could be a particular problem for our car with the fused positive battery terminal. I remember reading some threads on here where a leaking battery had caused a lot of problems.

This IS cool, but for that price, I will wait for the Odyssey, since now I can, being forced to use the AAA battery service last fall [:(] for their flooded lead acid one.

What do you think of the AutoCraft Platinum batteries? Before I learned about this new AGM option on this thread tonight, I had been planning to put in an Interstate MTP 96R battery. It's their best battery in our size, but is not an AGM battery.
I've heard about weak batteries causing all sorts of problems in our cars, so I'm thinking next summer when my car hits 4 years old I'll just get a new battery regardless of how the old one tests out.

So the one I put in was from O'Reilly's. Probably the same who knows it was also a Platinum series. All the AMG batteries are called Platinum series at the three big auto stores.
She had a EverStart battery in there it was about three years old and her car wouldn't start. The battery had plenty of juice. I got it running decided I had to replace it regardless couldn't take a chance. Had them test it and they believe it had a broken connection inside because the battery tester would not test it.

So I decided to go with a AGM and so far it's been all good only time will tell. Hopefully I have a battery that will last more than 3 years for once.

Well i had to get jimped and cycle the key a crap ton of times to get it started to head home. I notified progressive of the issue and left a message with the repair guy. I have a 40 minute drive to work one way. If it were the alternator i would have been left stranded with a flat battery in no time. Once the car has been running and things have warmed up it seems to start instantly. Can a starter get full of water and then freeze killing any use of the motor unless its got enough current? It has been single digit temps the last 3 days. And repair guy did wash my car but didnt dry it off. As there is ice kind of everywhere on it. Even in the bottom of the battery tray where there shouldnt be any. Especially after it got baked in a paint booth.

I guess I have been lucky with my '14 and 52k miles.
I have the original battery that came with the car when I bought it.

Starter inhibit relay is R9
Starter inhibit relay fuse is F10
My book says its f36... Which is a 30 amp fuse that looks like a pink box and is good. It says f10 is for the passenger headlamps. Either way the repair guy is coming to pick up the car and replace the starter.
