Just got my 2016, nav, black wheels, Recaros, moon roof...I think basically all the marbles. Gonna add a few Mountune bits as they are sold thru Ford Racing web site and do not impact the warranty in any way. Also gonna do a few other things...just ordered Team Dynamics, need to order an Access Port from someone...lots of options, etc.

Pretty stoked to have a little daily drive ripper. It will also be a bike hauler for the local Los Angeles trails and a few road trips too I'm sure.

Thanks in advance for all the questions I will be asking in the future.

Enjoy! The car is awesome. How will you haul your bike?

Thanks much for the warm welcome. As for the bikes...I already have a Thule roof rack with the right towers so just need the fit kit for the car. I like hitch mount carriers better as far as looks go when you remove the carrier...but these cars are so small it looks like the tail lights will be blocked. If I go that route...which I may still...I will liklet buy a 1up. My Thule hitch mount is for 2in. receiver so it won't work.

The other benefits to a roof rack...IMHO...is safety. A carbon bike on the back of a car is asking for trouble. Also I can put my rocket box or snowboard mounts on the roof too.

I was told that it's a matter of when not if one will forget the bike as they are driving into the garage. I'm still considering which way to go. Thanks for your thoughts.

KNOCK ON WOOD!

I have not done that...in 35 years of driving with bikes on the roof. There are tricks to help you from forgetting you have precious cargo on the roof.

I am SOOOO in love with this little car. So far...I have installed my FWWerks exhaust and short shifter, Installed Mountune springs, intake, FMIC, symposer delete, hot side pipe, mud flappers. Mishimoto induction hose. Team Dynamics wheels (16x7) with Firestone Firehawk 205/45/16s. All that is left for now is to finish the break in and hook the AP up and load some maps. Once I put a couple more thousand miles on I am gonna get this thing on the rollers and really dial it in. I have a track car...a built Time Attack car for the street class...its a 2 liter that puts 480 wheel torque down...AWD...it is an absolute blast to drive. As fun as that car is I think this car is equally as fun. A totally different drive for sure, but the fun factor is through the roof. I can't wait to get this little feller in the canyons or even better on the track...YAY. I may even sell my track car depending on well I like this at the track.

I just want to say thanks in advance for all the questions I may have...I really appreciate the help.
