Just got thethe Koyo 36mm radiator installed. The car was not liking the 95 to 101 degree temps we've been having for the past month. My coolant temps were constantly heading to 230 and it was...unnerving at best. The koyo has temps around 190 in the same temps. If you were wondering if it's worth it, it very much is. This platform isn't getting any younger, and this will definitely help it's longevity.

I wish that I knew for certain that it was just splitting hairs, at most, for the upper temp limiting differences in idling/stop and go traffic temps between this Koyorad, the Mountune/CSF, the Pro Alloy and the Mishimoto (as well as all of the build quality/longevity differences).

When I do this, I want to do it once for the life of the car, (which I plan to own until it is either totaled, or there is no more fuel available to run it on, or I am in the ground:LOL:). ;)

Can you give us a link to the one you bought?

And how was the installation, was it an exact fit, or did you have to modify or cut things to get it to fit? Thanks, both things would be helpful to know.

All Aspects here in Chesapeake Va. did the installation. They did the work on my Mazdaspeed 6 and they're good. Primarily a Subaru shop, and they sell a ton of em (koyos) to those guys. Unfortunately, I don't have the time, mechanical aptitude, or patience for that job🤣🤣. I'd screw it up.

They said it was tight, but didn't say anything had to be cut.

Koyo 14-19 Ford Fiesta ST 36mm Hyper Core + NFLO Triple Pass Radiator – Panda Motorworks https://share.google/Bc7pZL3GPLwVnsIhj

This is the one, but they ordered it from Koyo directly.

I know you weren't asking me but I replaced my radiator after overheating in the AZ heat, I used this guy and installed myself. I did not have to remove the bumper, just real tight clearance! My temps are 30⁰ cooler while sitting at idle...

If All Aspects recommends Koyo for all their ridiculous, and I mean RIDICULOUS WRX builds, its gotta be pretty good.🤣

Yes, Koyorad's phenomenal rep precedes them, and it was the one I was leaning towards anyway, especially for their given build quality/longevity.

I just wanted to know if someone has used any of the other brands, after trying another one first, and had even slightly better cooling results.
