I'm making believe that one day I'll rally my '16 Fiesta ST. What wheels and tires should I get for an event that featured both tarmac and gravel stages, if there is such a set up.

Thanks in advance for your advice.

Thanks,KKaWing. I've already bent a wheel (stock 3968) and popped a tire running on Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3 - 205/40R17s. I'm thinking I need something a bit more able to handle irregularities on the road.

I rallycross (in a dedicated race car, not my fist) but best option is a 15 braid or compomotive wheel as they are strong and you buy a set of used gravel rally tires will give you the ultimate setup. If you are on a budget a solid winter tire will work, altimaxx artics are a favorite but anything with lots of room between the rubber lugs but when running a regular tire you need to air up to 40-45 psi when running on dirt or gravel because bumps and tire rollover will pull the bead off. You will go through the tires faster but is a decent place to start for a budget beginner. I have been organizing and running events here in Alberta for 3 years now so if you have any questions let me know.
