What year Saleen wheels? I want to get ahold of some mesh Saleen wheels off a late fox. When it warms up I'm gonna take the turbine wheels off my foxbody and see what it looks like.

Jesus. The first decent wheel manufacturer that makes a wheel for the Fiesta ST is gonna make a killing. There is a lot of guys wanting wheels but hate all of the options.

I just bought the motegis because i could get em from work cheap and because they were light. I don't really like em at all. They're boring and cheap. In hindsight I wish I would've went with the rota grids and just dealt with the weight.

It's a street car I'm sure. Weight only matters for racecars. I'd choose looks if it meant a slight addition to weight IMO. Also if its just a few lbs you wouldnt notice anyways.

Yeah its just a cruiser. I did notice a bit more pep dropping 6 lbs per corner, but honestly it's not that big of a difference. I noticed a bigger difference when I added eibach bars and springs than the wheels.

Nice. Does the car handle a lot better with the suspension setup now?

Oooooooh yeah. It'll take a corner as fast as you have the balls to enter it. Probably the most noticeable mod I've done other than the bov. I ordered them through work so they weren't that expensive, install was cake, springs settled just right, and it handles like an f1 car. It took it from being a fun backroad runner to being downright scary if you've got the balls. I love it. Handling is quick and precise and you can take the potenzas to their limit with ease. Power is only good if you can put it to the ground, and this makes that happen.

Thanks. Good to hear. I like to save up and buy all my parts at once, then spend a weekend putting it all in. I'm thinking springs, intake and exhaust when it gets warmed up. I have access to a shop with a lift but I like to have the doors open with a beer in hand lol

Haha. I do the same. Order similar stuff together and install at once. Do bars when you do springs, it's worth it.

Exhaust is easy, two hangers. Intake is easy, depending what you get. I put in my k&n in about 30 minutes with a cold brew. Springs aren't bad, rears are cake, fronts a little more work just because of hard to reach hardware. Bars aren't bad, rears you could do on the ground. Front is easier if you take off the hub.

Hell yeah thanks. I'm used to building Fox's for the 1/4, not fwd, turbocharged hatchbacks for road holding. Its a little different than what I'm used to lol so many new things...made of ulgy plastic.

Haha. Tell me about it. This is my second fwd turbo, I had a 20ae gti but killed it before I could mod it. It's a whole different world from what I'm used to. It is amusing taking corners faster In a four door four cylinder than I could have taken them in my c5 vette. Lol

Yeah it's fun entering a corner fast knowing you will make it through to the other side with out you dying. I'm used to launching going sideways, shift some gears then hard onto the brakes so I can creep around corners. Now I don't have to do that at all lol but just wish my ST was faster. I'm selling my Fox to help pay off my ST but I know I'll miss the raw fuel smell and rumbling cam.
