How much boost are we getting in 1st and 2nd gear stock? 1st gear especially feels really gutless to me.

I forget the exact number but the stock car is very limited as to amount of torque it makes in the 1-2 gears . That's why when you pull hard into 3rd it's do much fun..

First gear is so close it doesn't load the engine up enough to build boost.

It's a quick shift but with the nannies off you can twist the tires at will

I remember reading somewhere that in 2nd gear you only get 12psi or so

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH yeah, woo hoo, installed the Cobb Tune and FSwerks green filter (preferred over K/N as these are made in 'MURICA, not china) today. Man great upgrade, 1-3rd you have to man handle the steering wheel much more and the TQ increase is very noticeable. PICS soon after I wash the beast. Filter seems to release a tiny bit more sound, but not much.

I have Randy's tune and it's right on the edge...what I really want is at speed roll on boost and torque...0-60 means nothing to me...I want to roast those dudes with the fast money...may have to go with Livernois

Awesome, just got mine in the mail today. Unfortunately I have to run some errands and probably won't have time to install the tune and injen intake today ;(

Also, I let my brother borrow the car and he put 87 in it. It has about a 1/4 tank left. Should I just fill it rest up with 91 and install the tune or just drive around til it needs gas?

Get that 87 out of there! That's just sacrilegious to run something that...pedestrian. 93 only here...guess AZ must be a 91 state? It makes such a difference to run good gas. I guess you could top it off with 91 but I would wait to swap maps til you have the "proper" stuff in there to not mess with the ECU's logic. Remember never to run anything less than what the map you are currently running demands. 91 tune - 91 octane or higher. 93 tune - 93 or higher.

I got mine today. Gonna log the car stock, update it and load software on my laptop, and then see about the 93 tune.
