I have a recently purchased 2019 fiesta st with 35k miles and recently I think my clutch has been slipping, whenever I step on it Or especially give it gas in high gears or low rpm’s the rpm’s go up or kind of bounce but the speed barley increases. I’m pretty sure my clutch is slipping but I just wanted y’all’s opinions also.

When I owned my Escort Mexico many moons ago, the same thing happened to me. It was the clutch. Put it in part exchange for a Vauxhall Chevette HS2300.

I’ve never personally experienced a bad clutch but that sounds exactly like what my buddy described when his WRX clutch went out. Turns out that the Subaru oem clutches don’t like it when you’re making 300 whp lol

I will echo what the previous two guys said, it sounds to me like a bad/slipping clutch.

You could try bleeding/changing the brake fluid/clutch slave cylinder first and see if it helps.

My vote is clutch though.

Well I got a clutch in the way and it will be here Wednesday so we will see if that does it
I would also replace the slave cylinder while you’re in the transmission. If you do it yourself, make sure you research how to properly bleed it. I’ve not personally done it, but I’ve seen too many threads where someone messed it up and had to redo the job to fix it.

I second this, this is definitely a good thing to do while the transmission is pulled.

I would def recommend the slave and also throw an LSD in there while you're at it. You will be blown away how fast the car can pull out of turns. Highly recommended. I just did it and wished I had done it sooner.
