Ptoblem shifting DOWN into 2nd

So i just bought a used 2016 st and it won't completely slip into gear going from above 2nd down to second; no problems from 1st to second. I noticed if i let out the clutch from 3/4/5/6 into neutral then to second, no problems, but going straight from a higher gear to second it slips and won't engage.

2016 just turned 50k

If double-clutching lets it go in, it sounds like a synchronizer problem.

Double clutching was a technique used when transmissions didn't have synchros.
Although, it may help, the common problem for our transmissions is a miss-adjustment of the shifting cables.
You need to determine which cable moves when dowh-shifting back into second and lengthening it a little.
