Consider this mid completed. I also double pigtailed it so i can remove the pulse module to revert back to stock.

Here ya go.....oh also....remove thw spoiler if your going to properly wire it in.....

Mine is working quite well and people often definitely stay an extra 10 feet back in traffic and at red lights.

Whether or not the spoiler needs to be removed may be case specific. On my car there was very little room to work but I was able to solder everything up just fine without removing the spoiler. Wire nuts would also work. Very quick/easy install.

Please don't use wire nuts! They arn't rated for the vibrations of a vehicle. That said, I wonder if it would be easier to install this on the harness in the hatch instead of messing with the spoiler...

This is where I bought mine http://www.3rdbrakeflasher.com/brake-light-flasher-c-65/. The pulses are completely programmable (speed and number of pulses). It also has different timer options that allow it to delay in traffic. Literally took 5 mins to install and only $20. They even have another pulsator with less options for $15. Can't beat it.

I have my pulse set so fast that the camera doesn't pick it up well.
Just bought one, thanks for the heads up, looks like the best option IMO

It took an extra couple of bolts to remove the spoiler and wire it the right way....not the hack way. Do it right the first time or don't do it at all! IMO...

Since this is NOT a vender's thread I will offer another alternative.

brake_light_pulsar

I have been using the very same one for 13 years now and it was only $25.00.

Is this the exact module you are using on your ST? Interested in getting this done.

Yes, the one I have is still working,
I first put it in my '04 Mini and it is now on its third car.
I know that there are many out there, some more expensive, some less.
I am just saying that this brand has worked very well for me.
