Or somewhat of a build. I'm not planning on getting too crazy with the ST, just making it my own as I move forward. I've had other cars in the past that I have dumped a lot of money into, here's the list: Ford ZX2, Protege 5, WRX, MS3(Both Gens), 2013 Honda Accord. The Protege 5 has been the one I have regretted ever getting rid of. There was something about that car that made me love it. It wasn't fast, but it was unique. I ended up at one point placing 3rd in the Blitz Import Show Off in San Diego during the height of import tuning. Fast forward and I think I have found a car that brings me back to those days?.the ST. It's slow but quick, you feel like your going faster than you really are and you use all gears at all times. So here is my build up to now:

Said Protege 5:

On to the ST!

The first Mod was what everyone basically does, 35% tint all around:

I then went ahead and purchased a JBR Heavy Shift Knob and Perrin Shorty Antenna:

After debating back and forth on whether to stay stock, I decided to go Cobb Stage 1! I love Cobb!

The floor mats that came with the ST IMO are garbage, so I decided All Weather Mats were for me and a debadge:

This weekend I decided on the Bojix Front Lip. I called Bojix and they were very helpful. I met with Haro down in Ontario and got a chance to check out their Projects. Specifically the Fiesta in which they are changing up. Love the front lip!:

The front lip basically goes on to all stock mounting points. Easy install. Its comes primed for paint, which I am not going to do. My plan right now is to wrap it in carbon fiber Vinyl…..ricey I know, but its cheaper than paint or buying the real thing(which I have purchase in the past.

Mods coming up:
Cobb RMM

Mods in the future:
Bilstein Coilover Kit
XXR 522 17x8 in Chromium Black
Bojix Side Skirts
Cobb Stage 2!

Being my daily driver I can't go too crazy with it :)

Looking good! I have to admit, I don't get the lip in front, though. Is its purpose protection from things coming up under the front edge?

That's one of the best Protege 5 I've seen. How much did the Bojix front lip cost?

It's supposed to make the car more "aerodynamic" if the company puts time to R&D the part. But this one is just for looks, I doubt it has any effect on the car.

I looked it up, $180 before shipping, that's not a bad deal. It's like another $120 if you want it paint matched to your body color

It mounts right up to the stock locations. Bojix does recommend drilling 2 extra holes in the middle around the plastic surround. I have not done that yet, the lip is holding well as is..

Did you need to remove the plastic under lip that hangs down behind and under the bumper (it can be seen in my siggy pic)

Nope. Everything is still in place, nothing to cut or remove.
