I've been around on the FiestaST.net forums since it started and I know some of you also frequent there and was on Fiesta Faction before that.

I've been a Fiesta fan since they showed up in the states and have wanted a Fiesta ST since they came out. I graduated college about a year ago finally so I've been saving up for my down payment since I got my job last year.

I ordered my 2016 Fiesta ST on June 12th. Current ETA is October 5th so I have about 2 weeks left on the wait.

I currently own a 2003 Ford Escort ZX2. It is fairly modified for handling, performance, and audio. It's been a fun car but it's getting old. Since the point of ordering my Fiesta I have spent about $2300 on fixing this car after the transmission took a dump and stuff just started going all one after another. So I'm ready to get into a new car where I don't have to worry about it breaking down again anytime soon.

My buddy had an '82 Escort with the 1.6 and a 4 speed. That was a fun car, but we've come a long way since then!

I was expecting it to show up around or past the ETA and it shows up today! Will have to wait until Monday to pick it up, but it's still earlier than planned.

Picture is from the salesman I've been working with. It sure does stand out among the sea of bland colored cars.

Thanks, I get compliments on my car quite a bit even though it is old and only had a $14,000 or so MSRP new. Only exterior things that make it stand out is the wheels, lower stance, and headlights. Otherwise it's just a decent paint job still that I try and keep clean. But it's different and stands out and I try and keep it nice so people take notice. It'd be pretty similar to the Fiesta ST, and that will stand out a lot more.

This weekend will be spent detailing the Escort to be able to post pictures of it for Craigslist soon. Hopefully it will stand out enough to be able to sell it for some profit over what I spent on it recently.

Picked it up today. It's awesome. I have a few adjustments I need to figure out for seat placement and how to work the Sync 3 system and climate control that I haven't had time to sit down and look at. The Sync 3 system is nice overall, but I was going to listen to my iPod on the way back and after the first trip the iPod froze on me and didn't want to reset. I didn't have time to troubleshoot so I tried the radio but I couldn't figure out how to just tune through stations since I was in an area I didn't know what stations they had. Couldn't figure that out on the fly so I turned to the trusty CD. I need to sit down and actually figure the system out at some point, but of course the next three days will be busy again...

Had the car for almost a week now with 400 miles on it. I would say my biggest complaint is the sun visor. I can't push it up towards the windshield enough when it's down to gain higher visibility when the sun isn't real low or when I'm trying to see stop lights. The other part is that it leaves an open spot between the A pillar and the visor. I'm having fun with accelerations and still making 31MPG average city and highway combined. I couldn't do that in the ZX2 unless I took it easy.

This color really stands out.

Sync 3 system with navigation. No climate controls on our Sync 3 system and if you don't have navigation the navigation button is not there.

Old car and new car.

I velcroed my iPod to the inside and tied up the excess wires so that it stays out of the way and the rest of the center console storage is still usable. A sunglasses holder was still not included on the 2016s so I store my sunglasses here.

Best place I could find for my gate opener.

I keep the headrests down in the back for best visibility.

The Recaros are awesome and I'm glad I got the grey instead of orange interior.

More than enough room for my average grocery haul and I can put stuff in the backseat if I have a lot of luggage to take with me or something. Under the floor I keep my toolkit. The spare tire keeps it from moving around much and the upper floor keeps it from being in the way when I don't need it.

Got my dashcam hardwired today. Did it correctly this time with an add-a-fuse deal that I plugged into the moonroof fuse socket since I don't have a moonroof anyway.
