I just pulled the trigger on these:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08XBN8T38
The units linked earlier on the page with the pigtails and inline resistors wouldn't work, since the bulb holder has built-in contacts getting power from the headlight assembly. That leaves 2 options: adding resistors to the wiring harness or an all-in-one unit like this. The one I've linked has a built in cooling fan, so we'll see how that does. I also have some LED low beams on the way, and I'll probably swap the high beams and fogs as well if they work out.
Did you get these:
LIGHSTA CANBUS Anti Hyper Flash 3157 4157 3155 3457

Or these:

IGHSTA CANBUS Anti Hyper Flash 1157 2057 2357 7528 BAY15D

I made a quick video of the turn signals:

Please excuse the state of my garage floor, I did some DIY repair so water would drain out the door properly, and the camera angle makes it look like garbage.
That looks awesome! So these were a plug and play bulb for you? Do the switchbacks function with the headlights in auto mode?

It is somewhat plug and play. You do need to buy the proper socket and do a little trimming on the notches and after that just tap the wire into the proper ones at the headlight connector socket wiring and the final result will be automatic as in all function as how the factory unit functions.

Unfortunately I think your wiring may be different since you’re in Asia. It sounds like @Buffaloboy didn’t have to modify his wiring harness but hopefully he can shed some more light on what exactly he did.

@skold @ronniec687 I ordered the 3157s and they are a perfect fit for my North American ST.
@bflan2001 They are plug and play with no hyperflash, and the bulb sockets in my headlights are different than the bayonet type that @lilbleh posted. I made zero modifications to the wiring harness or internal wiring in my headlights. I don't think you'll get the white DRL mode with the lights in Auto when it's light out, but you will get it with the switch in the parking light position. I covered my headlight sensor and leave the switch in Auto so they are always on when the car is running. I have a tiny grey car so I need all the help I can get to be seen. With the headlights off, they just act as turn signals, and with them on the white DRL mode is active until the turn signal activates.

They probably would, but the switchback function wouldn't do anything and they would just work as turn signals. I'm going to pick something up for my rear turn signals soon, and I'll post again with links.

Just ordered a full set of LEDs for the back of the car:

Rear turn signals: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08Z34QY4X
Brake lights: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06XVT9D1W
Reverse lights: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B074RFY776

I'm using these in my license plate lights, dome lights and cargo light:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00JRE38EA
A word of warning on these: one bulb in the pack I bought was shorted out internally. I had the bad luck to install it in one of the little map lights up front and it killed the circuit board in the dome light assembly. No idea why it didn't blow the fuse. All the rest worked fine.

You can also put them in your side marker lights. They are brighter, more yellow and less orange. And they draw less current.
I had one in my first bag of 10 that didn't work. The second have all been fine.
I have buku LED interior lights, and they work fine after 3 years.

Let us know if they are better than the stock bulbs and feel free to share photos before/after!

I got the brake and reverse lights, and the turn signals should be in tomorrow. The brake lights are a bit brighter than stock, but they switch instantly rather than fading in and out like the old bulbs, and they look good with the stock LED third brake light. The reverse lights make a HUGE difference, they are a lot brighter than stock, and a much whiter light. I made a quick video to compare. Incandescent bulbs on the left, LEDs on the right.

Nice! If I don't go with smoked taillights, I may do this. What was the total cost of those rear lights?

Since the ones Buffaloboy posted were out of stock I decided to try the Lasfits. They also don't require resistors which is the main reason I hadn't installed LEDs up front yet. They are a little different from the Lighsta bulbs. First, the white DRL is not nearly as bright (100lm vs 600lm) while the amber brightness is about the same. The other difference is in the switchback function. On the Lasfit bulbs, the white LEDs stay lit when the turn signal blinks. On the Lighsta bulbs, the white light shuts off when the amber portion lights up. I'll take a video at night for a better idea of what they look like.

The reverse lights were $13.99, tail/brake lights were $16.99 and the turn signals were $23.88, totaling $54.86. The reverse and tail/brake lights don't have resistors and the car isn't complaining about them. The turn signals should be here today, and I'll post an update on how they work.

Well, I ordered some. Guess I'll be the guinea pig. If it works, it'll be all I want from the front turn signals.
If not, we file it under DON'T BUY THIS! NO WORKY!
Well, I got them. NOT a direct fit, at all. Useless as tits on a boar. They do not, and can never be made to fit in a US model.
DON'T BUY THIS! NO WORKY!

I bought some switchback LED turn signals several years ago from Diode Dynamics; they were a bit costly at $60 plus another $10 for the LED resistance kit to address hyper flash (I probably should have shopped around). Bright white matches the fog lamps (including casing) I procured from DD as well. All lights are still working fine - no issues after five plus years of use.
