Switchback LEDs and ballast resistor placement

Yes I have seen the threads on this and there is a lot of good information here. My question is this; I just put in some nice Diode Dynamics switchback turn signals in the front and 1) they are awesomely bright and will make nice DRLs 2) and of course hyperflash. I do have the resistors and was wondering if I can just put them in the tailights for convenience? Aren't the tailight turn signals on the same circuit?

Unfortunately you will need resistors on the front as the tail and fronts do not share the same circuit. I know I tried with 3ohms rear only with no success and others have stated the same. Good luck
