Turn signal LED resistors (front and back) install locations? Mounting 3m tape vs screws?

Before I jump into the LED turn signal upgrade I wanted to better understand where I should be installing the resistors that I'll need? I saw that the front/rear circuit are separate so I know I'll need 4 of them. Where and how is everyone installing them? I saw a few old threads but all of the photos were gone.

Thanks for the help!

The resistors might not be necessary. There are LEDs that claim to have the resistors built-in now.

The turn sigs in the mirror absolutely do not require resistors.

My rear resistor locations are photographed here.

The front, I'll have to snap a photo of and post.

Auto parts stores now carry the turn-sig resistors. Get them locally.

I used 3M tape for some headlight resistors on another car. They superheated the tape to the point of being no longer functional. May have less heat with the turn signals though.
