Toyota GR Corolla looking real good about now...

Sent from my IN2025 using Tapatalk
Yeah man, that or an IS-F. Supras and 86s aren't the kind of "Toyotas" I'd buy. I love my Fiesta but Ford's build quality is garbage when compared to any Japanese Toyota. My car has just over 50K miles and this will be the 3rd f'n blend door actuator since I've owned it. If they would redesign and permanently fix the part I'd relax, but I know I'm gonna install the new one and next year it'll break again because Ford. Toyota has spoiled me.

ISF would be nice if they weren't so stupid expensive lately. I had a chance to buy a very clean low mileage 2011 for under $20k about 3 years ago. I was an idiot not to jump on that given how much they've appreciated.

Oh man that was a steal even by pre-2020 standards. I saw a 2012 with 80K miles listed for $47K this week and laughed out loud. Who knows if they'll ever come back down. The 2011+ are such great cars even with an automatic trans.

Absolutely. I had been on a hunt for a 2011 and a local single owner car popped up. Guy was having to sell due to financial stuff. I don't think they will ever really come down fully.

I wish I could go back in time and shake myself

Can we just JB Weld it and remove the plastic gear that grinds all the time and call it a day? Lock it in at 50/50 indoor/outdoor air or something?

I’m not sure but it really is ridiculous. It seems most Ford vehicles have this issue too, not just the Fiesta.

It's not just a Ford issue. Dodges have the problem too. GM cars too. It's really a plastic gear problem. They design the actuator to be a cheap part. The unfortunate thing is that it's so hard to get to them.

Did you make that two wheeled trailer?
Nice car, awesome track pictures!

New wheels ? they look great !
Rotas I picked up last year for track. Not my favorite but they hold 235s and are relatively light compared everything else available in 17x8.
