Received mine. Was delivered last Wed, UPS got it right this time [party], and I got it when I came in to work. All parts present and accounted for, correct can, and penguin inflated and sitting on my desk at the moment. Will install the can when I get the chance.

Thanks for the kind words! Very glad to see that you received the catch can (and chilly) safe and sound. Looking forward to seeing the install!

Got my catch can today and was all ready to install it only to find out all the parts weren't in the box. I only received 1 hose and 1 clamp [thumbdown]

Do I contact the vendor I ordered from or you Mishimoto?

Unfortunately our pre-sale has ended and pre-sale pricing is no longer available. However, you can certainly still save some money on this can (with black hoses) by ordering from one of our Mishimoto authorized distributors. If you are not sure which distributor is closest to you, check out our 'where to buy' feature on our website HERE. If you need any additional assistance please let me know!

Sara,

Why the Version 2 bracket is developed? Easier to install? Easier to drain? How can existing owners purchase this new bracket? Thanks.
The version 1 bracket has had some failures reported to us. Based on its location (on the engine mount) it is subject to vibrations which cause it to crack in some cases. The version 2 bracket relocates the mounting point to the back of the front crash bar which solves the issue of the bracket breaking.

Hi Sara,

Thank you for your quick response.

Can I have more information on the cracking? I am currently traveling overseas and will check accordingly as soon as I am home. Thank you.

Best regard,

Zeta.

My mount cracked too and one of my connectors on the top side is leaking. I made sure to reconnect and listen for the click but it still leaks a tiny bit after a few hundred miles.

The mount has been known to crack and break at the bend point where it mounts to the engine mount. This is why we have developed the updated Version 2 bracket to replace the failed one. You can get the Version 2 bracket by contacting our Customer Service team who would be happy to send you our updated bracket.

Apologies that you are having these issues. If you purchased our kit you are entitled to a Version 2 bracket with or without a failure. Our customer service team would be more than happy to assist you in obtaining a new bracket and hose (with the connector). You can reach them at 1877GOMISHI from 9am to 5pm EST or at support@mishimoto.com. I suggest having photos of the issues ready to ensure the warranty process is a speedy one. If you need any additional assistance feel free to send me a PM and I would be happy to help.
