Matte clear coat option. And I am still waiting for my car. Apparently she was built yesterday.

How much heat do you think these knobs will hold? I live in Texas and don't want to burn my palm off every time I get in the car. I know they are powder coated but it is still metal underneath right?

Yes metal and nice and hefty. Would not want to drop it on my toes. Not sure how much heat it will hold. Lighter colors will obviously be better in direct sunlight. Some guys put a decorative sock over it or I think maybe online you can find something if you google it. Lathe werks sells a velvet bag with drawstring for shift knobs and Amazon has some. Or you can just find one of those velvet bags that women's jewelry comes in since that is what the lathewerks one looks like.
