The stock ones have crappy beam pattern, has anyone found reasonable cost fog light assemblies that are better? It looks like our car uses a very common standard size assembly, I just don't want to pay $150+ for them if there are some proven good options out there... Is it simply called Type A?

TIA for any ideas or what standard size to search!

I found these cheap LED ones on FleaBay a while back. Might be worth the try for 1/3 of the price.
Buddy of mine has a set of these on his FoST, look good and seem to work good as well, though like A7xogg said, they could be unreliable in the long run

Cheap LEDs = unreliable
Not talking about the bulbs, I have a ton of research into them, looking at different fog *assemblies*, but there are plenty of good fairly cheap LED's that do last and work well once you've done your homework.

Not worried about the bulbs, I'm looking for assemblies with better than stock output, would you guys say they are better than stock assuming same bulbs used in each?

Edit: Just realized these have built in bulbs, are they replaceable I wonder, but definitely curious about the output...

fair enough but I'm not sure $43 difference for yellow is worth it
they even charge $20 for Lamin-x yellow film for their white led fogs, we charge $14.20

Not trying to bash these or you Ron( I have too many good experiences with whoosh) but morimotto proved to me many years ago why there awesome and there gonna get my support and recommendations for light products for a really long time over everything.
