So when my AP gets here monday i'll install one of the free Cobb OTS tunes to get started. My plan is to sooner than later buy an e30 tune and go from there. Having read up on tuners, the 5 listed are the main ones i could find recommended by the majority of people, each with good and bad. I went to the websites of each and had a gander at their listings but not sure if i have the prices correct in my head. Just looking to be corrected if im wrong about the prices.
All im after first for a paid tune is an e30 tune, preferably the lowest cost one. Later this year or early next i will upgrade my FMIC and reassess the tune from there. Unless i messed up the options menus, the following are what i gathered from their websites for a no frills e30 tune.
Dizzy) E30 Flash tune = $75
Stratified) Single file e30 mix tune = $100
JST) Custom E tune + Fuel upgrade tune = $299
Tune+) E-tune package = $200
Cobb) Stage 2 93oct/98RON = Free (is this an e30 tune?)
So on the cobb site i couldn't find anything mentioning e30, on Tune+ all i saw was a tune package deal, im assuming it's all inclusive and you can choose e30. With JST it seems you have to buy a entry level tune first, then add a fuel upgrade. Dizzy and Stratified seemed the simplest and cheapest, with Cobb being an unknown atm. Am i missing anything? If the above is accurate, how would you compare the Dizzy e30 vs the Stratified e30?
