I was curious if anybody has a dash pad/cover in their FiST? I feel like every car my family has owned has always had one; also, it helps reduce the glare on a sunny day, which is a big plus living in SoCal. I found some on eBay/Amazon, but they don’t look too promising.

I bought a suede dash mat for my FiST on dashmats.com and it's a perfect fit. Make sure you select the hatchback option [emoji106]

Do you have any pictures by chance? How’s the quality of the suede?
I'll see if I can snap some pictures of it when I get off of work. The quality is alright for the price. You can get higher quality material for a higher price. But I settled with the suede

Found THIS from Well Visors.
Ive been using their visors for YEARS and i really like them, so i wonder how these mats would fit/look. I dig the material

living in socal honestly makes a dash pad almost a necessity because that glare off the steep fiesta windshield can get blinding during the afternoon commute i have seen a few people in the fist community use the dashmat limited edition or the suedemat versions which actually look a lot cleaner than those generic carpet ones you find on amazon or ebay since they are molded to the specific contours of our weirdly shaped dashboards

the trick is to go with a dark matte material like black or charcoal suede because it absorbs the light perfectly instead of reflecting it back onto the glass i was actually venting about this to a neighbor who restores older cars and he mentioned having a similar issue with sun damage on his projects but he managed to find a really good buick cover selection that helped him protect his interiors without looking cheap or bulky
