Also wondering if a front brace (or any brace) is overkill in a car with a welded-in half cage?

From across the pond, it costs about $260 shipped. I'm sure Ron can do better than that
actually its above that its actually around $290 shipped. I was actively moving towards pulling the trigger on the front 4 point a few times in the last month or so. So this is welcome news and I am getting one. Regarding your snow plow comment actually the 4 point will have more clearance than the Pierce because of the oval triple tubes. .

it's designed for a euro Fiesta which means
stock, j-pipe upgrade, whoosh hotside, S280, Peron big turbo kits will all fit no issue

any hot side charge pipes that are 2.5" such as cp-e or Mishimoto may not clear

With a FULLY triangulated, tied-in, and gusseted, FULL cage, they would not only be 'overkill', but boat anchors. [wink]

Not sure on a half cage.

Even if I wanted one, I seriously doubt that any of the front lower braces (maybe save for the DNA [dunno]) would clear my Skid Plate Guy bash plate.

But I WILL get the SWAVE 'trunk brace' if Ron brings it over. [wink]
