Welcome Karl!

im in the USA, but i know that STs are very popular in the UK and Europe.

I also know they're stolen alot. Check in with the UK guys and find out how to protect yourself. Being in the EU you should have access to a massive amount of tuning parts as well.

Cheers!

Welcome, I think you will enjoy the car a lot. I've been fortunate enough to have some really nice cars in my life, and this little thing may be my favorite of all of them.
There are a lot of knowledgeable people on here, ask questions and you will get good information.
Post up some pictures if you have a chance.

WELCOME and CONGRATS! [twothumb]

I thought that everyone on that side of the pond got the Mk8 starting in 2017 (or did the changeover happen mid-year over there, or did they sell some of the leftover Mk7.5s as '17s??)?

Are you an Irish Tarmac Rally Championship fan at all?

I watch all of the Irish events on you tube, some GREAT stuff, and there should really be a tarmac round of the WRC held in your country already, on those phenomenal roads you have there!!

I watch every stage of WRC and ERC, Irish Tarmac?! That sounds right up my alley.

Probite British Rally Championship

Rallying The Wright Way

Red Bull TV/Dirt Fish (not sure how you watch the WRC events, but these two are free, albeit not as extensive coverage as some of the paywall services)

Got ya, yes the British Rally popped up in my recommendations now. The Wright Way looks cool. Have you seen the rally version of "drive to survive"? can't remember the name but it's from 2023 24 I think and follows the M Sport team. It's great. I have RallyTV so I'm good there. Just started playing in the last few weeks EA WRC, it has a lot of bad reviews but I think people are just too nitpicky, my Son and I love it. This is my current car....
