223whp 315wtq protuned @ cobbsocal. On shitty 91
That's pretty good coming from a Mustang dyno. Wish the one at the Plano, Tx location was calibrated about the same but it seems to put out really low numbers (and not just on Fiesta STs either). [:p]

I'd take that. These numbers make me so excited for my Randy tune. I'm hoping to get around those numbers. I know I'll be a little under though because I'm still at stage 2.

I guess using the dyno they use, it would be hard to have an disappointed customers... Then again... With E-tunes, if the person doing the pulls isn't on a perfect road ( level, straight, no wind etc ), then someone could be falsely disappointed, or falsely happy.

Like the latest car that put down like 238whp in puerto-rico on a stock turbo in 90+ degree 100% humidity, all dyno's should be taken with a grain of salt. Its a tuning tool, not a measuring stick ( 12 inches is the same on EVERY ruler ).
Trap speeds never lie (assuming you get reasonable traction ).

This is exactly why I'm going back to the same dyno I used for my base run, to see the improvements based on that ones calibration.

I would turn traction off (hold traction button until message pops up), just to make sure it doesn't interfere.

I went to the track with and ran my buddy's livernoise tuned Focus ST. First run my first time ever at a track. I spun out of the whole so hard it was terrible. I ran a 15.7 at 97 mph. We went again, I ran a 14.8 at 79.8 mph, my buddies focus ran a 15.1 and 80.5 mph. I was about 4 cars ahead of him. I have a video to prove it. We ran again, I ran a 14.9 at 80.4 mph and he ran a 15.2 at 78 mph but he was a bumper ahead of me, I took off that ran at .859 reaction time. He had a .233 reaction time. Those trap speeds are awful low for the time. Our time slips where messed up, my buddies GTO ran a 12.7 at 109 mph his time slip shows 13.2 at 92 mph. I am hoping the track gets there shi* together when we go back in a few weeks so I can get legit times. So trap speeds can be a lie when the time slip is not right.

I . So trap speeds can be a lie when the time slip is not right
I agree with that :)

But come on... I think we're adult enough to figure out that 15.7@100mph isn't really a solid slip for calculating anything other than how power your track prep is that night, lol.

Then again (I'm from Puerto Rico...no hyphen needed)...Tuners and owners down there really push the envelope on safety/longevity. We really ride the ragged edge as racing there is much more a way of life. While the 238 might be true...I"m standing by for the boom!

HAHA. I had to put it out there. I agree 100% We are adult enough for sure. Hopefully the track in a few weeks will be right this time. I am hoping to break into the 13's. I am stage 3 E30 tuned. V dyno put down 220WHP 326WTQ. So its possible you think?

Stage3 with a E30 tune is def a 13's capable car for sure. I have a friend that has gone 13.6-13.8 on the stock intercooler and tires !!
But, while I'm sure a lot of you guys know this, track prep and track temps me a great deal. I went 13.3@104mph on my 233whp tune. But the night at the track, was in the high 40's !! The night on the dyno it was about 76 degrees.

Just keep chopping away at the track, once the cool weather gets here, and we get some guys that make the step-up to slicks, were gonna see a lot of good times.

Yeah, I ran a 14.4 at 99.xx mph my first time at the track with this car with almost a 2.4 60'. It was 95 degrees out and I was full weight with a full tank of gas. I'm running a Freektune e30 tune on a stg3/ stock turbo setup. I plan on going back when the temps drop a little this fall. I have no doubt that mid/ high 13's are possible with less than half a tank of gas, no spare/ jack, back seats removed, cooler temps and more practice. :)

So I had my car dyno'd tonight.... I ran into an issue where my tune had LC enabled (my tuner did LC in a way where I don't have to do anything to enable it, I just floor it in neutral and it revs to 3.5k or whatever)

Since the rear wheels don't move when on a dyno, it was triggering the LC (LC uses rear wheel speed sensors?) and I couldn't do anything to disable it--I just had to flash to Stage 0 and get a baseline...

Anyway:

Stock everything minus intake (Injen), exhaust (MBRP catback), BOV. (not that BOV has any effect) AND my tune. I called my tuner while my car was strapped on the rollers and he had a new map sitting in my email before we finished un-strapping it so we strapped it right back up!

Red = Stage 0, Blue = 93 tune from my tuner.

DH dyno tuned on dynojet with 93 oct, AEM cone filter, DH FMIC, mbrp charge pipe, stock dp and cobb cbe with burble pops now = 203/280. Used Randy Robles stage 1 93 oct tune as base = 203/260 no burble pops.

This is my 15 FiST on a mustang dyno. Had whoosh V1 intercooler/whoosh V2 catless downpipe/ 3inch straight pipe/injen intake/ stratified flash tune no revisions I’m running 94 fuel cause that’s the highest I can get off the pump and ethanol doesn’t exist at pumps up here in Canada really in the west. 222whp 295wtq it was 30* Celsius that day my charge air temps were 29*C. Looking to get a custom tune done and the rest of the bolt ons done and run a boostane 94 octane mix to about 109 octane since I don’t have ethanol and see what I can make. Hoping around 240whp 330wtq.
