How's the revision feel? In for the results, again, lol. Thank you for being the tester for this tune. I'm looking to get it as I finally got my new O2 sensor from Ford ( made in Germany) and I'm finally able to really drive the car with all my mods. I am using the Cobb Stg 3 (91 octane) map with 93 octane fuel in the tank. Last night while logging my boost, air/fuel, and all cylinders ign correction, I was seeing 22.5 psi, 11.31 a/f at wot and +5.25 on cylinders 1-4 ign correction. The car felt good, but from the looks of those numbers, I have more power to be had. Hopefully the Freektune can address this while I'm learning the ATR software.

It feels really good-nice and smooth and very powerful. I only have about 20 miles on it, and the ECU is still adjusting. I haven't collected any pertinent data-logging, but I know that each time I've done a flash it's usually taken a few days before all of the trims are settled and I'm pulling the same power consistently. Here's a shot from my drive though-

I don't rely on estimated torque as being equivalent to what I would see on a dyno, but it is a decent indicator of what you're butt-dyno is feeling. The Stage 1 OTS map had settled in around 235 and the Justin's base map had settled in just over 250. I'll see where this ends up tomorrow after work, but judging by the ignition corrections I think it's doing rather well so far.

I thought I had reset my AP3 to datalog what Justin was wanting (default plus ign correction on all four cylinders) but I must have been wrong because when I viewed them it was still the pid's I had set to compare the OEM and Cobb filters, so I haven't actually seen the data yet. I am very pleased with how smooth it is, I lit up the tires in third on wet pavement doing one of my pulls, and I think I'm on par with the MP215 having only spent half the money.

What gear was that pull in? I'll have to take mine out tomorrow to see how it compares on the est. torque

Okay, 3rd gear it is. I just want to see how it compares to the OTS Stg 3. At this time I'm pretty much done with the power mods, now I need a custom tune and from what I hear, Freektune is on point. From the looks of your progress, it seems that what I hear is true.

I'm really pleased with his work and the tune so far. I didn't realize initially that yesterday was Saturday, so I'm pleased that he's working on it as he has time. I already knew he was busy and I'm in no rush, but he's clearly putting time in as it's available to him.

I showed 262.1 ft lbs on the AP3 this morning, and I think that's great (regardless of what the real output is) for being OEM with a drop-in filter. I'm really curious as to what this car could put down if I had a TBE, intake, and intercooler.

Trying this tune myself. Still waiting for a base file. Bun running the OTS Cobb Stage 3 91 tune using 93 octane. My setup doesn't seem to like the Stage 3 93 OTS for some reason. Just runs and pulls better with 91 octane tune.

I've heard that from others as well but never ran the 91 on my car. I should have tried it and maybe someday I will.

I ran the Stg 3 93 on mine a couple of times and it felt fine. Not much difference other than a little less torquey in the bottom and a little more pull mid range and up top. I stay with the 91 while daily driving just because of the heat here and to give a little wiggle room just in case I get a batch of bad fuel.

This is a pull with my FiST today to compare with your Freektune with my COBB Stg 3 OTS tune. It was 95 degrees outside. Considering my mods, I should be higher. There is a lot left on the table. The Freektune is looking much better, lol. Time to get this thing dialed in. Also, I had been idling a couple minutes when I took this picture via the reason my temps are so high.

Basically your pull is the equivalent of my base map with just the drop-in filter. I'm definitely curious to see what you would be at when dialed-in. I'm on the verge of ordering my parts as well, I just want to see what kind of Labor Day deals there may or may not be.

I'll be doing some data-logging tonight to email off :)

I agree, dyno's stock ST numbers are great.

Yep, right now the OTS tune is taking no advantage of the mods I have, lol. I still need to install my one step colder plugs then order the Freektune :)

Anyone running a Freaktune?

So, I went ahead and ordered my Freektune today. After I ordered it, I pulled the FiST in the garage and changed the plugs to a one step colder plug ( NGK LTR7IX-11). I crunk the car up and took it for a drive to make sure all is good before I receive my base tune from Justin. Now, it may just be placebo on my part, but with just the plug change, the car idled smoother, revved smoother and put down 256 estimated torque on the Accessport vice 248 with the stock plugs. All other parameters were almost unchanged. So, now just excited to get my base map :). Also, just to note this....the stock ford iridium plugs varied in gap from .026 to .032.

I got my base Freektune yesterday, did about 60 miles of driving ( to and from work). The toe in with the base tune feels much better. I did two datalog pulls in 3rd gear 2500-6500 rpm. I got a good bit negative ignition correction for the first time, especially cyl 1 (-5) at WOT in high rpm. I saved the 2 pulls that I did and emailed them to Justin. I also re flashed back to the COBB stg3 to verify that the car was fine mechanically and to make sure I didn't get bad gas this morning when I filled up. I'm running BP and Exxon 93 octane. With the COBB tune, I was getting all positive ignition correction (+4 to +6) in all cylinders. It was about 10 degrees difference in the outside temp between the runs. So, now I'm waiting for the first revision from Justin to see him work his magic.

That seems surprisingly aggressive for a base tune. Was it -5 during a lot of the rpm range?

-5 was the worst, it was negative throughout the rpms though.

That would have probably been my exact thought as well. Hopefully you get a quick turn-around on your revision, I'm anxious to see what your car will do.
