I installed my mbrp cat back today and all i can say is wow. The install was super easy,(took me all of 30 minutes )and My car sounds amazing! Between the mbrp cat back and atp dp my exhaust is unreal. Its quiet enough to not get harrassed/pulled over under light load/normal driving. Under WOT/hard driving this thing sounds like a race car it pops burbles and makes every noise i feel a turbo car should make including turbo back fires on decelation. I would recommend this set up to anyone wanting a LOUD aggressive exhaust.
Anyone recommend anything louder? lol If not i might go with this setup happen to have a sound clip?

Isn't MRT the loudest? That's a straight pipe all the way.

Sure. Cut the stock one off near the rear axle. Then when ready to part out clamp it back together using a standard exhaust clamp.

Sounds good saw the installation process seems straight forward but looking around i feel like the stock exhaust is as quite as a prius

3" fabbed exhaust. no muffler or cat/resonator. sounds good with catless d/p. having supporting mods/tune is nice as well. sounds loud and throaty. can def hear the turbo a lot. having the 3" instead of 2.5" helps with de-acceleration popping and such. now I don't daily this car, and is built for track use. it is loud. lol

Lol, you could be like me and honestly not remember how the car felt stock. I added parts really quick :) and added them mostly at the same time or very close together. I too am used to faster cars, but I can honestly say that this car would woop up on my bolt on 99 cobra.
How's the drone at highway speeds? Was thinking of going with this set up as well.

because its just a straight pipe for 600$ .. you can get the same thing done at a muffler shop for 200$

With the race downpipe, at the 3000ish RPM...it's the loudest. To me it's not that bad, but everyone's opinion on drone is different. I daily drive this car and like the way it sounds, every day for 40+ miles and 2+ hours (lots of traffic).

better shot of the 3"
anyone local in Maryland I can build this for. I also used v-band clamps for easy removal/install. plus its a cleaner look.

I kind of like the angled tip/ exhaust exit that you have there. For a FiST, it's different but nice.

yea I wanted to go single exit. and when on the track it shoots decent sized flames out so it gets it away from the back bumper. I don't like to be part of the "norm" lol. and I think it looks pretty good as well! thanks!!!
