Hey everyone, I haven't been on here in a while. However, I am excited to say I am expecting a baby later this year. Currently I own my mustang and a pontiac solstice. Obviously, one of those two has to go and I need a 4 door car. I tried to do a quick google search but I was curious on everyone's real world experience with a car seat in the back of the fiesta.
Is it doable? or is it going to restrict front passenger space a lot?
Do you find you still have sufficient space for a stroller in the back or other baby items?
or am I just completely in over my head about having a new born in a fiesta st?

I think this would be the perfect excuse for me to get back into a fiesta. not really interested in a base fiesta, but I think a fiesta ST would be a really fun dad mobile. Curious on everyones thoughts and experience.

First and foremost, congrats! Get ready for the most difficult, stressful, infuriating, joyful, and rewarding moments you’ve ever had. Everything else pales in comparison.

Neither of my very young children have ever ridden in the fiesta for more than a lap around the neighborhood in “daddy’s loud car” as they call it. It’s extremely safe for its size, but it’s still a 2700 lbs vehicle on a road full of 5000+ lb land yachts. I had the fiesta and a mustang when our first was born. Sold the mustang to buy a family vehicle just before she joined the world. No regrets. I’m certain many will disagree, but p = m x v isn’t an equation I want to be on the losing side of.

Also I did extensive research on baby seats and the ones I purchased, which had the highest crash test ratings of any on the market at the time, simply do not fit in the fiesta unless the driver or passenger seat is all the way forward. They barely fit in my Escalade ESV lol

My baby was ten by the time I picked up my FiST, I'm not sure I'd want to deal with a baby seat and the accompanying bags in what little space we have... But once they're in booster seats it's a great car

Congrats! I’ve got two boys, and the FiST has been fine for most things. For a rear facing kids seat, you need to move the front passenger seat virtually all the way up. So, one kid, find. Two, not good. Or one and a passenger, also no good.

congrats again!
