Ok ok, that makes it sound like a bad thing, and the last thing I'm doing is complaining.

I'm Corey, I'm from the Milwaukee, WI area. The story of how my FiST came about is probably a bit different from most people (which can probably be said about most people, thank you Ford Marketing for neglecting the FiST). I've been in some form or another involved with either rallycross, stage rally, TSD rally, or ice racing for the past 7 years or so. In that time, I noticed the use of Fiestas both in the WRC arena as well as Rally America. Ford has been super involved in the US rally program, which definitely earned my respect. Once I saw the going price of Fiesta ST's, I had to learn a bit more, so I headed to YouTube and looked for reviews. After watching a few hundred videos, I honestly thought Ford was paying the reviewers to say the things they were, and I was trying to find videos to disprove that. Once the time came for a new daily driver and I had the down payment saved up, I took a test drive and as all of you know by now, the decision was made on a 2015 in Performance Blue and I never looked back.

My other car is a '98 Subaru Impreza fully prepared for stage rally, with a full race cage, seats, harnesses, extinguishers, etc. etc. It's my first year competing in the Rally America regional series, I have 1 event under my belt earlier this year in Missouri where I placed 3rd out of 14 cars in my class. I still do local rallycrosses and ice racing in the winter, but stage rally is such a different beast and even spectating is an adventure in itself, I highly encourage everyone to try watching a stage rally at least once.

I'm realizing that's quite a long intro, so here's a pic of the rally car:

Welcome! I love your Impreza, I used to have a '98 2.5 RS myself as well as an '04 STI before the Fiesta. The RS was intended to be a rally car, but plans didn't go through and I sold it.

As you can tell by my WRC plate I am a rally fan.

Very cool, clean RS's are getting harder and harder to come by and the demand for them is through the roof. I always had a soft spot for RBP, I wanted to paint my old STi swapped GF wagon that color and make a P1 replica wagon.

i felt the same way. I thought there's no way all of these magazines & blogs can all be singing the praises of the FiST. But after reading & viewing every review I could, I went and bought one. Not big on Fwd, but this thing is so much fun to drive. Welcome.
