Sent message today after getting my old tuning notebook running then I got a temp keyboard to work on the laptop, ordering a new keyboard as it should work just fine, yeah, more life out of my 2.5 year old expensive computer:)

Well, I checked in with my local installer, and still no dice on the Clifford end. One of their techs has a FoST, and they still have no option.

I guess I'll check back in a few months and see where we stand then.

If anyone is interested, I've spoken with both DEI and Compustar reps...it is never going to happen.

I got more real info out of the Compustar people than DEI would say.

Basically, Ford used a different system in the ST for the intelligent key set up than in the standard Fiesta. Because of the difference in programming and the limited production numbers, they do not want to invest the R&D into figuring out the programming to get around the intelligent key and immobilizer.

The Compustar guy said run away from an ST looking for a remote start. There might be a way around it, however he has not seen a clean install that works properly with out eating a key, throwing CELs and other oddities.

Bascially, my take away is that it will not happen. No remote start for the FiST.

Hey bro have you tried using the 1101T? I'm hoping it'll work. I'm about to do the install soon.
