Has anyone here had issues with the compass module ( the box attached to the windshield next to the rear view mirror) coming loose? The direct sunlight and heat here in Florida is melting the glue that holds it on the windshield.

Mine has came loose 3 times now as in hanging down by the wires when I get into the car. I just take it and line it up back on the windshield to try to make it stick back up, but it's not sticking as well the more this happens. I'd like to think I could just put a better glue or something on it to make it stick better but I don't want to not be able to remove it if I ever have to replace the windshield. I'll just have to take it to Ford and have them remove the old glue and reinstall it.

If you'd like me to loop in your customer service manager on this, please let me know. :)

Happened to me. I'm in Canada, it was like that since day one. Brought it to the stealership and they couldn't get it fixed so the tape was not visible. I have to take it back in this week.

Thanks, but the problem is, is that if they are going to use the same glue/ tape as factory, then the problem will come back. I am, going to the dealership when I get time and I will ask if they have a better solution that what it had on it from the beginning.

Can you see the the adhesive through the windshield or is it the clear adhesive that you used?

Dealership I went to tried a few different 2 sided tapes, and the tech wasn't happy since he could see the tape Through the windshield.

I agree not to use the same stuff that was there. As inexpensive as two-sided tape is, I'd rather them fix it so it's a known issue.

We need a Meagan in Canada!
You guys do have a Me for Canada; her name is Brittany. :D She's not currently on this forum, though. :(

Here are some options:
1) Send me your VIN, odometer reading, best daytime phone number, full name, and dealer name/location, and info about your concern that I can pass along to her. Please put something about Canada in the message title so I know before I open it. :)
2) Reach out to her on Facebook.
3) Reach out to her on Twitter.
4) You can also call the Canada Customer Relationship Center, but you will not be connected to Brittany. As Social Media Specialists, we do not have a phone line or public email. That number is 1-800-565-3673 (M-F 8:30AM to 8:00PM EST).
