For those of you running the high alcohol content fuels like e30 are you worried about causing your fuel pump and other rubberized parts to corrode quickly? Has anyone had to make repairs due to alcohol fuels damaging there rubberized parts of the fuel system?

Every car is built to handle E10 these days and with flex fuel vehicles, more and more parts are designed to work with E85 whether your car is flex fuel or not.

I think the Fiesta has a few inches of rubber line and the in tank pump to worry about and I haven't seen people having problems so I bet it is fine.

I was wondering the same thing. I don't daily my car so it sits in the garage most of the time. I was planning on running strictly e30, but I wonder if having that much ethanol in the fuel system at all times would cause an issue.

The car is designed at a minimum to use E15 as stated on the filler opening. I doubt the additional 15% would do any harm. Either way, with the benefit you get running a E30 tune, I'll take the gamble.

Added: I think the only rubber parts you need to worry about running E30 are your tires, especially the front. ;)
