Hey guys,

My 5,000 mi drivetrain unit is now ready to go into the car with all the collision damage professionally repaired at a machine shop and I've transferred my accessories over to the "new" motor, so it's ready to go in as best I can tell.

"bad" engine left, "good" engine right - Before transferring accessories

What I do need are some extra hands to help me maneuver the motor into place and slide the half-shafts into the trans, and could also use help re-hanging the front crash bar. With the crash bar totally removed and out of the way, it should be pretty easy but I just can't do it alone and could really use another pair of eyes.

Located on Breckenridge/Viburnum St in Whittier, CA 90604 in the Candlewood Country Club neighborhood, I plan to be wrenching from 8am to as late as I have to (cut-off is 10pm max daily out of courtesy to neighbors), and if anyone's available in the evenings this week, I might try to see if I can make some progress if I can get a helping hand.

I don't have a front tie rod end popper tool nor do I have a Big F---ing Hammer large enough to pop them free and had to borrow one last time, so the tool to do that would be a huge help.

I provide food and beer and most of the tools, you provide the extra help I need to get it done.

It will be great to get my car back on the road after 6mos.

Unfortunately I had to part with virtually all of my "power" performance parts so aside from the suspension and exterior stuff, I'm stock again :(
had to sell to pay for the replacement motor, so I'm accepting sponsorship proposals again ;)

But seriously. Hope to see you there, I can really use your help.

Collision damage? I thought the motor failed... Either way, sorry I'm not closer, I'd love to help. Good luck.
