I’m sorry I didn’t but wish I did. The tire guy I always use for
Mounting my performance tires said they were one of the stiffest if not stiffest bead he had to deal with. Now it just needs to warm up and hopefully get some events this year. I’ll put on few street miles on them soon when gets little warmer. View attachment 29491 View attachment 29492 View attachment 29493
Post pics when mounted please! This wheel tire combo could be the one [emoji1665]

In for reviews. I loved the old RT615K+ for the track, took quite a few track days and lasted well. Hopefully there isn't a metric fuck-ton of Silica which will degrad the tire after 2 events in pursuit for grip.

Alright I put them on car to put a few street miles on. I won’t leave any feedback till put some miles on them first. 225/45-15 On Swift’s and konis. Also rear camber plates from dpro.

Looks great, thanks for the pictures... you may need to at least roll those rear fenders a little bit when lowered that much, no? I’m a big fan of the wheels... and interested in those tires also.

In person I believe there is plenty of room. Im also running rear camber plates from @Dpro which helps get them tucked in there bit easier.

That'll work... didn't see you mention rear plates, that's a significant part of fitting these. I have them also.

Regardless of how they perform, that certainly looks phenomenal on that color FiST!! [twothumb]
Thanks guy. Wasn’t sure how would look but really like it. Looks much better in person. Love having some actual negative camber on the car now. Now to put few miles on these tires and see how perform on the street. I’m gonna go back and forth between running some re71r’s and these so can compare. Hopefully I’ll get to do some autocross this year and maybe flop between these and some re71r’s or rival 1.5s I have around to see how they compare while really being used.

Yeah I should have mentioned. I was worried they would poke some like I have seen in other pics but the plates helped a good amount. Very happy that we have that option available now.

I am glad I could help definitely looks nice . Interested to hear how the handling is with those tire widths.

I bought ONE set of Falkens for my Focus hatchback before I got my FiST. Never again! I wouldn't put Falkens on my car if they were giving them away! I got 2 bald patches on 2 tyres after 10,000 miles. I took it to a tyre store and asked for their opinion. They asked me if I'd ever done an emergency stop. I said no. I was after an opinion about why it could have happened and then wrote to Falken in Rancho Cucamonga letting them know of the problem. I even offered to take the tyres to them for them to see but they were NOT in the least bit interested. As I said, I had NEVER done an emergency stop, so can someone explain to me why the two bald patches appeared? I pay for tyres that don't do what the Falkens did!

I do feel like there is more torque steer. E30 tune doesn’t help that either.

Not properly balanced wheels, worn dampers, or wheels that are dented. My brother's nissan went through two tires just like you described on the same wheel and two different shops he was going to didn't catch that wheel was bent.

None of the above was seen or felt when driving the car. The wheels were nearly brand new, tyres were and I still had the stock suspension. Car was only driven on the street and some fwy. No accidents or emergency stops. Both tyres had identical bald spots in one part of the tread.

The fact that the spots were in identical places points to alignment/balance issues. Defective tires usually give out immediately via side bulge or blowout and a 'bad batch' of tires won't have problems in the exact same spot. Equal bald spots after 10k points to improper wear usually due to installer error. If you get your alignment set to regular Fiesta specs the toe in front is off and really messes up your front tires.

Not sure how often you rotated tires, but I'm assuming the ones with issues were in front?

This was on the Focus I had before the ST. It was an 8yr old car with 23,000 miles on it. I bought new tyres not long after I bought it. It was owned by an old lady who only used it to go shopping, hence the low miles. The interior was like a brand new car, immaculate.

Regardless of the condition of the car, If tires were aligned improperly, tires not balanced correctly or you didn't rotate at least every 5k you're going to burn through rubber very quickly. Especially sticky 200utg tires.
