Hello st owners usually I get 18-20 psi on boost, I changed my cold air intake back to stock to get through emissions went back to aftermarket, I’m only seeing numbers of 14.89 at the moment any ideas ?

Intake is all pre-boost so shouldn’t have any impact unless you’re running a massive turbo at 18-20 psi. Bad gas? What’s your OAR and timing showing?

Did you hook up the EVAP harness up correctly when swapping the intake back or mess with the symposer connection? If either connection to the cold side pipe is leaking or disconnected, you may have a boost leak.

Symposer could definitely do it if he messed with that. Would the evap harness cause low boost though? I thought our cars don’t really care about pre-turbo leaks but not entirely sure

I have not messed with the symposer, I have looked at it and it seemed pretty snug isn’t there only 2 hoses connecting to it ?! I removed the stock intake a minute ago the 2jr is a cowl intake so it’s not near the symposer anymore. :( I do not have a smoke machine to visually see leaks I did clean off hoses and look for cracks and felt for air I have not took hoses off and I do not think I make enough boost to blow the hoses off. I only have a boomba bpv, a 2jr cowl intake, whoosh dp. The stuff I have messed with is pretty straight forward. Unless there is oil build up on the bpv causing boost issues.

my 2017 still has 2016+ evap harness with the 2 connections on the intake tubing... one time I messed with something and forgot to hook those 2 connections back up properly, and I was down 5psi and had less than ideal noises... connected those again and I was fine lol

I never messed with the symposer the tube connected to the symposer does have a huge hole in it…should I fix that then see where the issues go ?

The accordion-looking hose that runs to the right of the engine? That just plumbs the noise to the cabin. That won't affect drivability.

Damn, yeah that’s the one I was talking about, I have no clue everything looks tidy and on the car I can’t see oil from turbo bearings. The only issue I seen was that messed up accordion looking hose:(

The one under the car, next to the oil pan? Was it like that pre-emission test? Here in CO we do loaded dyno test, so Im wondering if it was damaged on the dyno. I can see a roller hitting it. Either way that would be a blockage in the boost tube.
The other accordion hose is on the exhaust on the rear and would be harder to damage
