Now I'm having a hard time deciding whether to get an intercooler first or this exhaust first....
I went for the exhaust... You always hear it! Symphony to my ears!

This CBE is more than double the intercooler though, at least the Depo FMIC I want.

I just pulled the trigger on the Cobb exhaust.

It was between the Cobb and the FSWerks, was leaning towards the FSWerks, but I knew in the back of my mind that the Cobb would always be what I really wanted. Also I like the flanges more than the clamps.

Ready to have the car rumble a bit more.

Just took my video today - happy with it too! HA! Borla CBE and a drop in panel filter - that's it for performance mods on my rig! Can't wait for that intercooler...

Here it is - currently uploading to the youtube, should be available shortly (30 mins... my internet is sooooo slow - yay for satellite!!)

Do you have a link to where you purchased? And or model number?

I thought that's what the 'video' selection in the reply box did! Ugh... whatever - the videos are labeled at least! ha!

For future reference:

That's the tag to embed YouTube videos.

The blue part is the tag, the yellow is the ID for your YouTube video (whatever it is in the url that comes after the /watch?v=______)

What you put between the tags isn't that important. You can just put anything in there... but you just can't leave it blank.

Like This Post Yes
Got my Cpe Catback installed , here are my thoughts this far

Quality: yes, I have never seen better workmanship and I have modified many cars ( RX8 G35 etc)
The tips are the best looking imo, they look just right and almost as if they belong on the car.

Sound: okay, before anyone bites my head off, this is my personal opinion and mines alone.
It's does not back fire, yea if I shift down and it's coming at around 5k, sure.
It's quiet (I have a downpipe) like really quiet, almost feels like I don't have an aftermarket exhaust.
And that sucks tbh, spending this kind of money (see CAD exchange rate-_- )

I was expecting it to sound throaty and aggressive and to hear pops and gurgles. If it is doing its very
Quiet, and that's sucks!

It's an amazing looking piece but look else where if you want aggressive or loud-ish

So, lets say i want zero drone, and just some lower tone and burble over the stock exhaus, should go for the Cobb CBE? While keeping the stock downpipe?
When i replace the stock downpipe will there be a dramatic increase in overall loudness, or will it be neglectibe?

Just stopped by to report my $1000 multi-mod MBRP with 3" Vibrant resonator and muffler that I could not stand the 3-4K drone in stayed on because I wanted to test Cyborg with full 3" exhaust before mounting the 2.5" Mountune CB I purchased to replace it.

Post Cyborg, drone is gone!. Now sounds deep and satisfying. Course its also possible I went deaf in interim, I loved it on track, easy to hear shift points.

And have to tune Cyborg, that may change it again, but I would not have believed the difference changing turbos made. Learn something new every day.
You got some sound clips? I'm looking to do a setup very similar to this.

I'm many months away from purchase, but the MAP 2.5" is atop my short list. Gotta keep listening to videos, though.

I'll whore out my exhaust again - I'm just that smitten with it.

Sorry, no clips or photos. I replaced it with Mountune and find for daily driving its much easier on the ears and tracked Sunday, has enough tone to shift by on track too.

Right now i have stock turbo back on, need to log a few runs and see if changing exhaust made any difference in hp/tq. I doubt it but only data can prove it.
